Regis University and the National University of Ireland, Galway have partnered to offer an Irish Studies certificate program delivered entirely online and made available throughout the world
"This joint venture allows The National University of Ireland to offer its expertise in the field of Irish Studies to a wider audience, and builds on the success Galway have experienced in the past with our internationally recognized Summer School as well as a broad range of undergraduate programs and the highly successful Masters in Irish Studies Program," said Dr. Iognáid G. Ó Muircheartaigh, president of the National University of Ireland, Galway. "Our partnership with Regis will alert students from around the globe to the strength of Irish Studies as an academic discipline at NUI, Galway, where it is a designated Area of Excellence.
The Irish Studies courses are developed, written, and taught by staff and adjunct faculty at the Centre for Irish Studies at Galway who are among the leading Irish academics in the areas of history, archaeology, and literature.
